Millennial activists gathered in the Hayes Valley neighborhood of San Francisco to protest against the displacement of Blacks in San Francisco. Plantation, a furniture store with an awkward name, experienced an unusual interruption at the open of business.

Protestors took to the streets in West Oakland, California on Black Friday in solidarity with Ferguson to decrease sales nationally. In result, West Oakland Bart Station was shut down for two hours stopping service to San Francisco in efforts to stop people from shopping and to demonstrate that Black lives matter.
